BenjiPapa @ Noodle Station

Some of you might have seen this shop already.. Located at e-Gate.... Went there to try out the food.. The owner is my friend's friend..
At first I thought it's all about noodles.. But looks like they have some other variety of food to choose from... They have western food too... But the major thing they have in the menu is....... WAN TAN MEE......... Nearly few pages of diff wantan mee...
The environment they have there is quite clean n nice.. Jz that the hanging light on the cushion area is too low that it hurt my eyes... After going tru the pages n oages of food n beverages... We made our orders....
This is "I Love You Lemonade" It's Blue curacao and passion fruits... Looks reli nice n taste good too.... Jz love the colors... They have others like "I Miss You Lemonade"..etc...
They have a huge glass of Honey Iced Lemon Tea.... Real big that 2 person can share it.....
We ordered the wantan mee since it's the noodle station... This is the soup wantan mee.... With Filament Stick n Fish Balls
This is the dry wantan mee.... 4get the name of it... So far the both dish is.... so-so..
The best thing is the drinks n of course the wantans... weeeee I jz love fried wantans....

Only Human

We have our staff gear up to give the best service ever experienced by a customer yesterday, Monday 29/10/2007. It only proof that we are human when the printer at the kitchen suddenly shut down for no reason. Our staffs have to work extra hard to still maintain a good quality service. They maintain their smiles all the time. Anyway today everything is back to normal and things are looking better than ever.

Penang Bridge View From Noodle Station

Penang Bridge view from e-gate

PICT0049

This is the first time I go to the e-gate. It is the building along the Penang Bridge Road, next to Tesco. Since it has been rainy and cloudy the whole morning, the weather makes the place extra soothing. A nice day to hang out at the side-walk cafes available there.

SL Liew On E-Gate

Favorite Thing: You will probably hear about "E-Gate" if you stay in Penang long enough. Where is that? E-Gate is located next to Tesco which is on the coastal road from Penang Bridge to Lebuh Masjid Negri (Green Lane). It is a building block with shops and hangouts for the young and trendy. Penang is relatively slow compared to KL but new places come up and hence the new names. "Belissa Row" and "Leith Street" used to be popular but now places like "E-Gate" and "Gurney Place" are the places to be. So next time, someone asked about say "Krystal Point" - do not hesitate to ask where because you cannot find it on the map. SL Liew

Noodle Station is a Halal Restaurant. Halal Noodle Station

Review From Petronas

Restoran Noodle Station
Restaurant ‘Noodle Station’ 3180-C, Jln Sultan Ibrahim, 15050 Kota Bharu, Kelantan Darul Naim Waktu Operasi: 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Noodle Station- It's All About Noodles!

"The Belly Rules The Mind"
Penang is surely known to be heaven for food in Malaysia. Most of the locals and even tourists flock to Penang for its food. Now, there's more options for food lovers- THE NOODLE STATION located at E-Gate (gorgeous location facing the Penang Bridge and next to Tesco). This is surely a NOODLE PARADISE- over 200 menu items, I would say, Noodle Station defines its name! Tonight, we went out for dinner at the Noodle Station. We got the best table reserved! Proud to say that this is a franchise-owned by my cousin, and the very first in Penang. The food was excellent. Menus ranging from noodles, rice, fried rice, western food, dessert, cocktails, and hot /cold beverages. The ambiance of the 'station' is just perfect- cozy with beautiful lighting and warm colours to welcome you plus you get to relax and surf the net free via hotspot Internet connection. The station is new, but yet it is buzzing with lots of customers. I definitely like the idea of a dedicated outlet specialising in noodles! When there are outlets specialising in 'chicken', why not noodles? Laksa shack is there, Chicken Rice is there, now, it's Noodles! :)
We ordered a variety of dishes, I had mee mamak (takleh nak tolong dah, mamak jugak yang kena) LOL, Finaz had wantan mee with dumplings, hubby- rice with chicken and mom had fried koay teaw. It was good- price was reasonable (comparatively cheaper than other high street food outlets). We then ordered another plate of shrimp fried rice! Talk about big eaters! he he he he The best part of the menu selection is the variety of cocktails. Finaz had New Age (er....it looked pretty and Finaz said it tasted good). We then had the Mango Snow and Banana Split on the house- Thanks Abg Ee...geeeee....nak lagi lain kali ye?

Syabil was trying his best to get his Abang Fikri to share the laptop with him. Whenever Abang Fikri turns, he would touch the laptop and type something! hahahahah naughty! However, Abang Fikri was too busy to entertain him. It was fun looking at him trying to get his way to use the laptop. Cheeky but cute!!!!

Daryn on the other hand wasn't comfortable being held by Tok Na and Cik Min. She was crying and looking for the familiar faces- plus she was sleepy. (susah mummy nak enjoy makan)!

After the food, I was just sitting and browsing through the menu...and I would say this....NOODLE STATION IS INDEED A ROMANTIC STATION-PERFECT FOR LOVERS!

Why???? Check out what is written on the menu.......

I Miss You Lemonade & I Love You Lemonade!

Isn't that romantic? :) Now, I hope in our next trip, my hubby would be 'romantic' enough to order me one of those.....

----------------------------------------------

P.S: Abg Ee, penat sungguh dok puji ni, takkan takdak apa kot? hhihihiihihihih complete meal for 2 plus dessert? ikikikikkikiikik

Noodle Station Review

Noodle Station, Subang Jaya 060707 Subang Jaya is one of the taman that i alwiz go around to look for food..... why? Coz if u happen to read on my blog, you can noticed that i seldom explore new area..... i do not know any single road name is KL except Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Raja CHulan, Pudu, Imbi and er....jalan peel..One evening when myself and Justin explore Subang Jaya area for food, we spotted a new restaurant ...hiding in the middle of double storey shop houses....When i glance through their menu, i found that its actually a HALAL noodle house with local chinese cooking style...Justin ordered the Honey Lemon Tea @ RM 5. It comes in a huge bottle but i still think that my cafe's drinks tasted better.. hahaI ordered the Mango Sorbet (RM 5) which come in a weird bottle... but i kinda like the sorbet taste...I ordered the Dried Wanton noodle with fried wanton, served with a few sliced of fish cake, fish balls, crab stick and vege (RM 5.50).The texture of the noodle was definitely better than those hawker stall outside but the gravy was almost compatible with others... the portion was a bit small for me tho..well, its cheap anyway... Justin ordered the Dried Wanton Noodle with BBQ chicken.... aisey..... of course the "chicken char siew" tasted not as good as the real pork char siew la.... but i guess this is a good entry for our malays friend to try the taste of char siew..Since im not full, i decided to order additional Honey BBQ Chicken wings (RM 3.80)... It tasted good but just a little bit cold.. For my dear readers, if you wan to had a bowl of wanton mee in an air-cond restaurant but only willing to pay a hawker's food pricing, pls refer to the address showed at the serviette.......
